When I’m shopping for clients I often come across pieces that I love, just not for them and not for right now. That’s where my rainy day shopping wishlist comes in. If you don’t already have one, I highly recommend starting one. It’s my running list of items I’m eyeing but don’t necessarily need at the moment. Part daydream and part practical shopping plan, it keeps me inspired and intentional with what I buy. When it comes to my personal shopping strategy,, I like to give it a couple days of thinking about a piece I might want to buy. If I’m still thinking about it a few days later and it is still available, I might move forward with ordering. If I end up purchasing, it means it was either meant to be orI really like it and will use it. Whether it lives in your Notes app or a saved folder on Instagram, having a wishlist makes future shopping so much more fun (and focused). Scroll down to see what’s currently on mine.
